Fixed nakshatras (Sthira) like Rohini, Uttara Phalguni, Uttara Ashadha, and Uttara Bhadrapada are considered best for construction as they provide stability. Shravana, Pushya, and Hasta are also excellent for Griha Pravesham.
Can we do Griha Pravesham on Amavasai?
Generally, Amavasai (New Moon) is avoided for Griha Pravesham. Shukla Paksha (waxing moon phase) is preferred, especially from Tritiya to Dashami. However, specific conditions may allow it - consult a qualified priest.
What time is best for Griha Pravesham?
The most auspicious time is during Brahma Muhurta (4:30-6:00 AM) or during favorable Lagna. Avoid Rahu Kalam and Yamagandam. The house should be entered when the Sun is visible (daytime).
